Fresh Kick for Your Skin

I've tried out Michelle Phan's champagne toner on Friday and woke up having wonderfully soft and smooth skin on Saturday. :)

This toner not only detoxifies your skin but also gives it a feeling of freshness.

Take off your make up so your pores aren't clogged with it.

Pour a little bit of champagne into a small dish and let your cotton pad soak all the liquid in. Then take it out and gently pad your face with it.

You will start to feel a cold tingling sensation on your skin - this is the champagne woking it's detoxifying magic.

And if you like (& you are legal age) you can sip on a glas of champagne afterwards.

Cheers!

Glam Up Your Life

I am totally in L.O.V.E. with this nail laquer I bought yesterday.
It's a deep bronze color with a brown hue.

You can always lighten the color by painting your nail whtie underneath or darken them by using a black laque as a base.

I feel like this tone gos very nice with my hair color. ^^ Btw, the laque is in "No. 460 In The Bronx" and it is from catrice cosmetics.

Yummy chocolate balls

I am always craving for some sweets, especially chocolate.

If I do not get a little portion of sweets EVERY DAY I literally go mad!

Anyhow, I do understand how unhealthy this is for my body. So I tried to change my chocolate/sweets consumption ...and failed. :(

Thanks to the fact that I went cruelty - free on my beauty products I often saw vegan recipe suggestions on youtube. I am not vegan if anyone is wondering but I do not eat meat very often either (actually I do only eat it in Asian dishes).

So among these suggestions I once saw a video titled raw vegan chocolate balls. I really was intrigued by this since I once have already tried eating vegan for three days & I liked it.

Nevertheless, I did change the composition a little bit.

Okay, enough blathering and on to the recipe you & your family will love. ^^

Ingredients:

1 cup of raw cacao powder
1 cup of chashew (or whatever nuts you prefer)
ca. 1/2 cup of coconut oil or cacao butter (melted on low heat)
a dash of salt
honey &/or agave nectar
(you can also add coconut shreds)

Directions:
1. Add all ingredients into a blender & mix it up.
2. Take a small amount and roll it in your palms. (Do it quickly otherwise they will melt!!)
3. Put it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
4. Enjoy & share with your family & friends! :)

I'm pretty sure you will not eat more than one or two balls a day, at least I do not.

You can always change the recipe a little bit e.g. spice it up with chayenne pepper or add some dates for extra sweetness. Take your time & experiment a little or just search some other variatons of these recipe on youtube.

DIY: Hair Magic Sheet

Today I've a very quick and cheap DIY - projekt for you. Actually, I came up with this a long time ago but only remembered it recently while I was watching one of Daven Mayeda's videos on youtube.

I'm going to put it in this post as well, so that you'll see what else you can do with your DIY: magic hair sheet.

Now on to the super easy steps to get one of these hair thingy's you might have seen while watching some Asian girls make up tutorials. (looks like this & come in different colors and shapes: 1| 2| 3)

Get yourself a velcro roller of your prefered size and cut it at the seam. Then pull off the velcro from the plastic roller and TA - DA you've got your very own Hair Magic Sheet.

The best part is you can choose any color you can find and even cut the velcro sheet in a prefarable shape of yours i.e. a heart, cloud, (polka) dot.

I hope you've like this little DIY - tutorial. Please let me now in the comments if you're going to do this.

A women's PERFECT suitcase & HAUL

I went to Leipzig on Wednesday evening to attend the open day of Leipzig's university.
I did really enjoy that day...but that's another stoy... ;)

Anyways, my sister and I went shopping a little bit (ok, mostly I did shop^^).

My sister was looking for this back everywhere since last year. On Wednesday she finally found it at a SUPER LOW PRICE! She got for only about 4€ from New Yorker.

My bag is from New Yorker as well unfortunately it wasn't on sale though.
So I had to pay the full price (~23€)

I put up a second picture since the color didn't come out true on the above.

On Thursday while lunch brake I went and bought some other stuff.
Sante Toner and Sante Sunscreen with SRF20 for sensitive skin as well as this nice perfume bottle with a super glam diffuser.

Then I bought three masks by Montagne Jeunesse.

Did I ever mention to you that my favourite bubble tea is selled in Leipzig? Not? Now you now it then! :)
It's called Kili Bubble Tea if I'm not mistaken. My sister and I both got yourselves a bubble tea after lunch.

Okay, I won't let you wait any longer. ^^ May I introduce to you - a Lady's perfect suitcase!!! What dou you think? :)

Yup, I knew you'd like it. Now to the downside of it... It sells a ~700€ at BUTLERS. But would we really need it in the end? Honestly, I wouldn't want any one to have to carry this thing for me. xD

A nice way to end the weekend.

Debussy Arabesque Nr.1- it's music for my (& your?) soul.

Kept listening to this interpretation of this beautiful melody since Friday and I'm still listening to it while tiping this words.

I feel relaxed and completely free of all obligations or whatsoever. :)

Now you turn has come to click on the play button, lean back in your seat/chair and enjoy.

Isn't this a nice way to end the weekend? Right, I know. ^^

This week I didn't do well following my new year's resolutions due to some happening at the middle of the week. This is why I hope to do better the next one.

On Friday I give myself a little relaxing and detoxifying facial care which I'll let you know about next week.

Until then,

Stay Youthful

Another year passed and we are not getting any younger (that's for sure).
Therefore it is very important to know how to maintain youthful skin.

I'm pretty sure all of you've heard about all of the things you should better do by now but do you really stick to them? Got you there, right!

It's so simple, so why do you want to give yourself excuses for another year? Times does not rewind!!

Just take your time for a walk in the park and breath in the fresh air, drink more water, eat healthy/-ier and get a rest in time (& moreover enough of it).

Of course we have creams and serums that help us to look youthful yet you need to do a little bit more to maintain this appearance throughout the years. ;)

Hence I'll share a facial massage I've discovered for myself last year. I'm not saying that this is THE ONE massage that will do everything for your skin. It helped with the apperance of my skin and gave me an overall better feeling.

After all, just give it a try!

My sister introduced me to Cherry's channel not too long ago. So if you liked the above video watch her other videos.

I hope you're going to pursue maintaining youthful looking skin this year.

New Year's Resolutions for 2012

Happy New Year once more my sweethearts!

I hope you've had a nice start into 2012. :)

Here's my turn on sharing my new year resolutions for 2012.

In 2012 I want to:

- read 1 book every month (I already own more than 12 books I still need to read)
-meditate (at least) 5 times a week
- do sports 3 times a week
[x] give myself a facial massage (everyday)
- do not be late at all anymore (for myself I managed this problem in 2011 now I must take into account the public transport always being late)
- eat salad for dinner
- blog at least once a week

I've decided to gradually integrate these resolutions into my life rather than starting to do everything aforementioned from right now on. This way it seems to be easier to stick to the plan. ^^

Now here comes the fun! Do not worry if you do not have any new year's resolutions. Just click on the link below and let the site generate a random resolutuion for you. ;)
