Quick & easy hairdo

I couldn't fall asleep last night so I've decided to watch some videos on youtube. And here is what i've found - a super simples two minutes hairdo. I wear my hair just like this today and I've got some compliments on it. :)

I've also done an easy - peasy nail "design" yesterday evening. The girls liked it as well because it's very cute. :)

Flashback: What I've been up to this week

I felt funny writing this post today...Though my last post was published on monday I feel as I didn't write anything in a while.
First of I have to apologize because I wanted to blog about my stay in Tenerife and still didn't write anything. Well, I guess I might not write about it after all. I just don't feel like writing about it now. Which doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy my stay there!
But let's go back to today topic - a flashback of my week.
Tanja and me met each other this week twice. *yay* On thursday we went to a new bubble tea cafè - BUBBLE's Tea Bar. And I have to say that it is our most liked bubble tea cafè at the moment.
Yesterday we went to the Don Xuan Center (Asia Centre). And shopped a lot of food. ^^
We tried out so many things that we felt sick afterwards. xD Howeever know we know what we definitely won't buy again. ^^ of course I've bought myself a big bag of "Vinamit's" Jackfruits again and a little bag of dried Durians which I totally liked. :)
Furthermore I've got a nail dotting tool and a nail....*ähm* dounno what it's called in English, sorry but you can see it on the photo! Oh and nail stickers with the Chanel sign but I forget about them, hence they' re not on the picture. ^^ And the probably best things from the Asia Centre are the two super cuter keychains. I found this damn nice owl with white plstic pearls and the very girlish Cinderella carriage with white and pink plastic pearls keychains. Tanja got herself the last one, too.
Later on that day T and I went into the city to get some other stuff. I've bought my very first OPI nail varnish - the NATURAL NAIL BASE COAT. And as you can see on the photo I've got gloves and a pair of socks for a hand and feet mask. And a body massager since I love my face massager from The Bodyshop that much. The bottle you can see is from The Bodyshop, however I've got this last week. It's a jasmine & white frangipani scented room spray. And so far I like it. :)

So that's it for this week. Until then,

xoxo J.A.

P.s. Oh and then there's this Bandette Comb I've got at Claire's. :)

P.s. 2: At the Asia Centre I've found an ad for another bubble tea cafè that we might try out the upcoming week. :D)))

Happy Valentine's Day

So one year's around already and everyone talks love again.
First of all I want to wish all the couples, beloved and those who are fallen for someone a happy Valentine's Day and much sincere and passionate LOVE.
Nevertheless, I want to speak out my sympathy to all lone ones out there. I do absolutely understand how shitty it feels to get reminded by all the lovely couples how you' re missing your other half. And how nic it would be to finde the one to complement each other and mentally grow toghether. But I can't understand those who are sending negative vibes to all those in love ones. You shouldn't be wondering why you' re still alone!!! Who will ever love a person that doesn't grudge others something as beautiful as love!!
Personally me...? I'm happy whenever I see tender couples. I feel happy for them and even my mood might improve.
But on the other hand I might feel lonely again after passing a couple. You might imagine me caught in a glas bottle cut off from the world at the same time while my "cage" is surrounded by couples. So it's similiar to the picture on the right.

How do you feel about V-Day?? And how do you spend it??

Love,

J.A.

P.s. Just saw this video and had to smile. Watch it ladies!

Sweet & totally NOT unhealthy snack

I love it since I bought it last year in an asian supermarket. Actually I love Asian supermarkets in general. :) Just seeing all the different and new types of foods is soooo exciting to me. Ok, I know my friends might say that's because I'm crazy about everything Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Singaporean). I don't think so...because I would never eat anything I don't like. However, sure you can find a lot of super - yummy food in these supermarkets. :D I showed a Green Tea (Mata) pulver to my bff and now she's totally addicted to it. ;) Tanja and I went to Asisa - Mekong yesterday and guess what she got herself??ß Yap, that's right! You've just scored 100 poindts. ^^

How's about you?? Do you have an/some foreign dish/es you are crazy about??

An animated film by Chanel

Here's what I came upon while I was surfing the Internet. In a cooporation between Chanel and the Creative Director Peter Philips a little animated film came into being.
According to the German Glamour Philips got the idea when he was working on a shoot for the VOGUE Paris. So a very entertaining work of art was created using compact powder, gloss, lipsticks, blush and brushes.

À La Mode

Today I tried out the " À LA MODE" palette and the cheek tint from The Body Shop's spring/summer collection ("Brush with Fashion").

I've used all four colours of the palette and the brown eye definer from the "Boho Beauty" palette. It just goes better with the brown mascara I use for daytime. I've also used the included brush and my own fluffy brush.

The eyeshadows are nicely pigmented except for the pink one.
Futhermore the palette does include a mirror.

After applying my eye make up I put on a tiny little bit of the tailored cheek tint (in hot pink) and the Rimmel's colorsensational lipstick in "INTENSE PINK".
And this is what my make up looked like. Unfortunately this picture doesn't show off the colour of the cheek tint but it should look like a light natural blush.
I hope you did like this little overview of the look I've created by using the " À LA MODE" palette and the cheek tint from The Body Shop.
If you have more question please feel free to ask! :)
I might use the other palette ("Boho Beauty") tomorrow and write about it but I am not sure yet since tomorrow is going to be a long day. :/

...dunno why but on photos my hair always appears much darker than it is and with a hint of red in it. -.-

Much <3,

J.A.

I've got new things! *uber - happy*

So today is the day!!!! ...I finally got my very 1st own computer!!! *YAY*
It took me a long, long time to choose but I've made my decision. I already knew that the only notebook I would go for MUST BE from Vaio....because that's the brand we've made the best experiences with in our family. We have a notebook that is about 8 or 10 years old from Vaio and it still works good. The notebook that I've chosne is from the Z - Series because my mum also has an early model from it and I liked it pretty much. I'm not sure if you can see it on the picture (if not you can enlarge it by clicking on it), because I took it in the evening, but I also bought a case for the laptop and an extra computer mouse since I don't like the touchpad or whatever it's called.

On my way back home I remembered that I wanted to get myself a tinted lipstick from The Bodyshop which my sister has bought herself a while ago. But, oh stupid me, of course I wouldn't leave the shop without spotting over something else...
So I've also got a bag from the Brush With Fashion Spring/Summer 2011 collection, the blusher and both eyeshadow palettes that come with a tiny brush and pencil liner. I am going to try out the products within this week to give you a little feedback/review on them. However, for all those between you that can't wait until than I've got a solution as well. Just visit Anna's blog and read what she had to say about some products of this collection. That's where I first heared of it. :)
The other things are an eye mask, a face massager, a headband and two body butters (or sth. like that) and the Love etc. fragrance in a solid form. ^^

Until then,
much Love...

J.A.

P.s. I just saw that Anna did a Valentine's Day make up look using one of the eyeshadow palettes from the collection.

OOTD

Today I wanted my outfit to be really comfortable so this is what I came up with. (=^.^=)

brown leather jacket from Mango // grey shirt which I wear as a mini dress (super comfy) // taupe colloured scarf from H&M - Men // thin leggins (with a zipper you can see because I wore boots)

P.s. Simply click on the picture to enlarge it! ;)

Expand Your Shoe Collection!

Hey there! What's up??
I just came back from Tenerife at thursday night and I still have a little jet lag. Since I hardly use a computer or notebook whenever I am in a new place (simply because there are so much more interesting things to do + this time I did not use any of them) I spend the whole afternoon with checking e-mails, new posts, uploaded videos etc.
And while browsing Michelle Phan's channel I saw this vid featuring Chriselle where she (Chriselle) shows some easy - peasy tricks on how to "expand" your shoe collection by using the shoes you already own and adding some accessoires to them.

P.s. I'll write a post about my stay in Tenerife soon.
